ukraine relief

We are partnering with The Calvary Global Network through Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to support their work in Ukraine through the CGN Relief Fund. They are working with and through existing Calvary Chapel churches both in Ukraine and in neighboring countries to provide relief, supplies, and spiritual encouragement to refugees fleeing Ukraine, as well as to those pastors who have stayed and are ministering to those still in Ukraine.

To make an additional contribution through CCMV, please use the regular giving links above and simply designate "Ukraine" as a special note.

regathering during covid-19

We're gathering again in-person back in the Sanctuary for our 10a Sunday service.

We look forward to seeing you all, but realize that not everyone is ready yet to come out, and that some of our dear church family aren't local, so we'll be continuing our same great LiveStream of the service. You can continue to access it just like you have over the past months.

For those of you who'd like to join us in-person, here's what you need to know:

Here's What We're Doing. . .

  • We'll be observing all of the current Social Distancing Guidance as recommended by both the County of Santa Clara and the State of California, including a required Social Distancing Protocol which we have filed with the County Health Department.
  • We've contracted with an outside service provider to perform additional weekly deep cleaning and disinfection of the facility including "electrostatic spraying."
  • We'll have extra hand sanitizer available onsite.
  • We'll be adjusting Sanctuary seating to accommodate distancing, and will seat people based on household groupings.
  • We'll be making some adjustments to our service to better comply with guidance, including a more personally-focused approach to our worship time, and single-serve Communion for this Sunday.
  • We're implementing a special plan for our GROW CCMV Kids Ministry to keep the kids engaged even while they're distanced.
  • We'll have our FLOW Youth Ministry meeting outdoors after they're dismissed from the service.
  • We'll have our prayer counselors available after service outside for some socially-distant prayer support.

Here's What You Need to Do. . .

  • Enjoy the service from home if you're sick, might be sick, or are in an especially vulnerable group.
  • Wear your best Sunday face covering. We'll have some extra masks if you forget, because you'll need one to join us.
  • Keep your hands washed and the sanitizer flowing.
  • Cover those coughs.
  • Come ready to practice your best Social Distancing.
  • Come ready to be a blessing to the rest of the body.
  • Most importantly, come ready to worship Jesus together with us again!

LIFEGROUPS

LifeGroups are a place to slow down, to connect with other believers, and to form real friendships in a supportive community that will lead you to a deepened walk with God. They are small groups that meet during different seasons throughout the year at different times and locations and are available for all life stages.

New LifeGroups will be announced here as they begin to form. Keep checking back for more info!

REGROUP

ReGroup is our Wednesday night midweek church service. It's a smaller, more intimate gathering than our Sunday morning service, and provides an opportunity to connect with one another, and to be refreshed and ReGroup in the midst of the busy pace of weekly life in the Silicon Valley.

Throughout the year, we're pairing the Focus 20/20 Through the Bible reading program with the teachings at our Wednesday night ReGroup service. Each week, we'll teach through a chapter from the previous week's reading, connecting that chapter with the overall flow of the book.

A simple Children's Ministry program will be offered for our CCMVKids, so there's something for everyone at ReGroup!

Wednesdays @ 7p

We’re also planning to offer a family "Summer Sandwich and Salad Bar" starting at 6p each week, so come on out from work or wherever and join us!

Easter Sunday - april 21

Join us as this year as we celebrate Easter with our Resurrection Sunday Service at 10AM.

The service will feature our special CCMV Grow Kids Program. After service, we’ll be enjoying a special Agape Feast Easter Brunch together in the Fellowship Hall. . . and you're invited.

We hope you'll plan to be with us as we celebrate Jesus!

Jesus is everywhere all the time. He can hear you now if you ask Him for forgiveness. Please turn your life over to Him NOW. Time slips by so quickly, don't miss this opportunity. If you want to pray and ask Jesus to be your Savior, you can say a prayer something like this:

"Jesus, I know that I have sinned against You. I know the truth is that I have sinned by my own choice, and I am the one responsible for it. I know that I have earned punishment from You, and that the fair punishment would be death. Jesus, I believe that You died in my place. Forgive me for my sin. I cannot cover or take my sin away, I am relying totally and only on You. You are the only one who can save me. I reject my sin, I turn away from it, I repent. Come into my life, take away my sin, and show me how to live my life in a way that is right and pleasing to You."

True Christianity is not about attending a particular church, or how your parents raised you, or what country you were born in.

Being a Christian means that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that He is your Savior. It's not good enough that your priest, pastor, mother, or aunt knows Jesus, you must know Him for yourself. They cannot believe in Him for you, you must believe for yourself. They cannot repent for you, you must repent for yourself.

Jesus did not, however, remain dead. After three days, He rose from the grave and later ascended into heaven. He will return for all those who are trusting in Him as their Savior.

Jesus died for you. You can be saved by asking Him for forgiveness from your sins. If you are willing to repent of your sin, He is waiting to forgive you. It doesn't matter what you have done in the past, if you cry out to Jesus for forgiveness, He will not reject you. The word "repent" literally means "to turn away from." You need to look at your life, admit that you are a sinner, genuinely desire to turn your back on that sin, and ask Him to forgive you. If you do this, He promises to forgive you.

God is perfect, completely good, always right and fair. He cannot tolerate sin. He cannot simply overlook the fact that we have chosen to disobey Him. The Bible says "the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23) This means that the fair payment for our rebellion against God is death. It is the punishment that we deserve.

Jesus, the one and only Son of God, came to earth and lived a perfect sinless life. He was crucified even though He was completely innocent. He received the punishment that we deserved. He was the perfect sacrifice, He was put into our place and took on Himself the sentence of death that should have been ours. (Romans 5:8)

receive jesus christ into your life

Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in . . .”

If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”
